every morning I do the same walk, it is 8km, every day for the last 30 days it Takes me about 90mins. And I go at roughly the same speed.
I have a reading in my health mate App and a map stored each day which shows the same route is being tracked, all gradients consistent each day (As its the same route!) and the time varies by +\- 5 mins each day the heart rate is relatively consistent so variances in my opinion are minimal, yet the calorie estimates vary hugely Some days it estimates it at 750 calories and some at 250! This then transfers over to my fitness pal and is meaning that my readings look off. its basically causing a 500 calorie difference if I am under or over my daily allowance! Meaning I don’t actually know 100% if I am putting myself in a calorie deficit. I expect some variance and appreciate that it’s about trends and going in the correct decision But this is enough of a variance that I’m not sure I am doing enough!
