I'm having the same problem.  I've never tried it before, but odd that we both had it on the same day.  Wonder if it's a temporary thing?

I'm afraid its not temporarly, I got this error today. Maybe the functionality is broken atm...

I’m seeing the same issue as described above. I have tried from both accounts and they show the same error message.

Has anybody opened a ticket on this with support?  Perhaps point them to this thread too.

I did contact support and got the following reply:

"As of now, we had to disable the sharing of the dashboard in order to improve, and to meet its privacy demand, this feature will be released again soon but we don't have the exact time on when will this feature be released again."

If this is true, then that's disappointing that you can't have individuals with account where they can see each-others health stats.

I have a Body+ and share my dashboard with my partner. I recently recommended a friend to buy a withings scale for the same reason. but my friend can't share his dashboard to anyone else now.

Seems like existing shares are still fine, but can't make new ones.

Since multiple accounts can't share data between themselves, but one account can have multiple people in it, I recommend making a unique account just for your withings device/s. So, if you want to share your stats to them and they to you, you can still view each-others stats. Withings recommends this for families.

So, make an email account like withings.support.wasnt.helpful@email.com or thanks.withings@email.com and share the password with anyone you want to view share a dashboard with.

You can follow the method above similarly to do one-way sharing of dashboards. Make an account for yourself, and your partner can make an account for themselves. Then, if you want to see their stats, just get their password from them! If you want to do it the other way around, where they see your stats, and you not theirs, then give them your password.

Set a unique email and password used just for withings though, as you don't want someone else knowing their 'commonly-used' password. Passwords should be secure, like: WithingsTh1nksThi5Wil1H3lpPriv4cy or We'reF0rcedToDoSh1tLikeThisToWorkAr0undW1thingsBS!!

    Hope this helps, good luck!!

The Whole Withings Universe is a Mess - Software Side - we're a family using Withings since the first released scale. It's been a roller coaster ride. Recently the use is very frustrating, shares not working - data lost because tried to move it to another "own" account of my wife. Now having several Accounts on one email and another one which can't login at all.

It seems Withtings really lack of some quality control in the software side for long term cusotmers. The new onboarding experience is great, much improved. But I often get the feeling as a "old" customer I'm not welcomed anymore. Everything is trimmed to sell new prodcuts, not keep the old existing users happy.

If I wouldnt already have 4 withings devices I would abandon it and go somewhere else where the Software side is a bit more stable.

I mean how hard can it be if this is a internal decission and that feature is currently unavailable to just implement a Error message saying exactly this. Instead you show "! ERROR" and let the customer try reset, reconfigure, relog and whatever in hours to finally relaize it's nothing wrong with the specific account or hardware.

    COMMUNICATION WITHINGS!!!!

The feature Share my Dashboard is not available at the moment - when will that change - that's the whole point of having this scale?

We literally bought 4 of these scales for this one reason and this one reason only.  Now it's just a scale that cost too much money. You do not have a happy customer here.

Any update? Sigh.  I've used this scale for 8 years amongst other Withing products.  Communication, timeline, word on if this is a priority or not?  I'd prefer to NOT go down the path of a a data export and importing to a different product set.  But goal collaboration with friends/family is huge right now (Apple, Nike+, etc.), so it's a key competency that Withings had and is now being overlooked.  Sad to see this thread 6 months old without acknowledgement.
