I've had my Steel HR for two years and I'm generally used to how far I need to walk around my city to get to 10k steps throughout the day. I'm used to my friends with Apple Watches or Fitbits bragging about their huge step count numbers when I'm barely at my goal, but that's fine, I've always defended my watch as being more accurate. Then this past week, I've spent most of my evening walking around the city and I'm not even hitting 10,000 steps! I walk my dog several times throughout the day, and then walk for about 1-2 hours in the evening, and I'm barely hitting goal, even though it says I walked 8.6 miles (usually I hit 10k at about 4.5 miles). I'm not pushing a stroller or pulling luggage. I'm swinging my arms a normal amount, the watch is charged, and my watchband is tight. I've sent several emails to Withings about this and I just get the same stock answer about their accuracy.
