What exactly does "fill in the lack of data with sleep" do/not do?

It adds what it thinks that happened. So it can add light or deep sleep. I'm not sure about interruptions

@tristan2002.13, I'm not certain that's the case. I edited my night, but left the box unchecked; it filled in deep and shallow sleep.
I'll try with the box checked and see what happens.

Yeah it does it with or without the box checked. I don't know what the box is for

I tried it just now, with the box checked this time, and it seems to do the same thing. :/ Thanks for your input. Hopefully, we can get some official word as to what this does. And, if nothing, they could just remove it.

That would interest me as well. I am using the App with the Scanwatch and I only get a rectangle box with diagonal lines. So no estimated light or deep sleep at all.
