    Hello all,

We understand that there has been some confusion about users' understanding of what happened to their ECG and SpO2 screens.

If you’ve set up your ScanWatch, but don’t see the ECG or SpO2 features, you may have skipped the module which asks that you accept the instructions to activate them.

"Why am I required to accept these instructions?"

Because ECG and SpO2 are medical-grade features, we are required to ask for your permission before activating them.

If you’d rather not activate them, you can skip the instructions below.

To activate the ECG and SpO2 features of your ScanWatch:

    - Open the Health Mate app with your ScanWatch close by so that it can sync

    - Tap on the Devices tab in the app

    - Locate ScanWatch and select Tutorials

    - Scroll down to Electrocardiogram and Oxygen Saturation and tap the feature you wish to activate

    - Follow the onscreen instructions and you’re all set!

    Happy posting,

    Chris

You need HM 5.1 for it to come back. With HM 5.0.2 or below it's not possible to get spo2 back after an update to 1471

    to tristan2002.13:

in the «all settings» i find «health features». there are the functions «ecg», «respiratory scan» and «signs of afib». within «respiratory scan» you can select off, automatic, alway on. whatever you do there has no effect on spo2 being available in display menu. and there is no separate spo2 function in «health features».

so where is spo2 if it is still there?

If you're watch is indeed on 1471 and your app is on 5.1! Please check. Not 5.0.1! Then you're menu should look like this:

And your watch is on 1471? If so you you would have the screen I send. There was a notification or something and spo2 was not available and I had to set it up run through the tutorial as the way how to perform it has slightly changed

I know the problem now. I checked on my iPad and indeed I don't have an SPO2 option. So it's currently only available for android users after the update

to everybody: to get spo2 working again you need to go to «tutorials», then scroll to «oxygen saturation» (sauerstoffsättigung), then run through the steps to actively confirm you want it activated. only then it will be available again to select in the display menu.

hope this helps solve the issue for all being stunned after the fw update.

ps: i don’t see the «oxygen setting» in the iphone app 5.1 but at least spo2 is again available if enabled through the tutorial steps.

I have downloaded and installed Health Mate 5.1 (apk) on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from apkmirror site and it works again like a charm including for the SpO2 function. Nevertheless I think the process is not clearly defined and straight forward especially for people without a certain IT background. A detailed release note for Health Mate 5.1 and ScanWatch v1471 should be available BEFORE release and not after to avoid unnecessary mails exchanges ...Cheers!

I also had to add SPO2 again in Customize screens. It was off by default.

    Hi,

I have tried all the tricks I can think of to get back the Spo2 to my new Scan Watch after the latest update a couple of days ago. I even reistalled the watch and the Spo2 is  activated in the workout section. Nor do I find the warning for AFib, which is important for me, in the Health Features. Everything worked fine before the update.

I have no IT background so I need quite simple and clear instructions to get back on track.

Greetings from Finland ,the land of Nokia . The most complicated cellphone of its time by the way.

That's the reason for your issues. You need to have Version 5.1. Please download the newest version via this link as it´s not available in the google play store at the moment:

    https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/withings/nokia-health-mate/nokia-health-mate-5-1-0-release/withings-health-mate-5-1-0-2-android-apk-download/download/?forcebaseapk

or check if there is an update available for you in the play store

Thanks Tristan. I finally managed to install version 5.1 and all problems are solved. Not a very simple job for a beginner though.

My app doesn’t display any measure options in settings when I have my Scanwatch connected. Tried to uninstall an install the app twice. Tried to unpair and pair my watch again as well.

The setting screen in the app looks like this (see the picture). App version 5.1. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 10plus. The connection between the watch and phone is really good.
