kerryfox94 Did you get any response from Withings? I'm having the same issue and it really makes the watch mostly useless.

Nothing useful from Withings support. They suggested re-installing the HealthMate app and/or trying a different phone.
Now, the issue is, I think, that the app doesn't actually store "Other" activities. If I stop the activity using the app, or do it on the watch while the app is in the foreground on my phone, the app brings up a prompt to select a 'real' activity to record instead of "Other" - see the frame from a video I shot for the support:
The issue is, when the phone is away and/or the app is not in the foreground, the prompt never appears and the activity is lost. Someone hasn't thought the workflow through. The app should record the "Other" activity and then allow editing if the user so desires.
For now, the only workaround seems to be to end the activity from the phone or to enter it manually afterward. :(
I have a Steel HR connected with the android Healthmate app. Since the last update, if I start an activity as 'other' on my watch, the app will recognise that the activity has started and is in progress, but when I stop the activity on my watch it disappears from the app and cannot be found on my timeline, or anywhere within the app. Previously I was able to find these activities on my timeline and edit them to the correct activity type. Is this a bug in the software? Or am I misunderstanding how I should use the 'other' feature? This is a replicable problem - another Steel HR user has been able to reproduce the issue.
Thanks for your help.
