Duplicated screens on the latest firmware !

    Hello all,

     

    Thanks for your patience while we sorted this issue out. 

     

    This bug was fixed with the latest Health Mate App update. Please update your app and log out and back into Health Mate and you should no longer see any duplicate screens.

    Restarting the smartwatch or the phone had no effect.

    I've had to delete the scanwatch from my phone and perform a factory reset to get rid of the problem.

    Bei mir ist auch nach diesen Schritten immer noch

    alles doppelt vorhanden. Bis auf Uhrzeit und Datum

    kann ich alles andere entfernen.

    You need to dissociate the watch from your app, then reset the watch (long press until you get the watch info, then press the crown until you get the reset screen), then pair the watch again.

    Man muss nur die Krone für 30 Sek. drücken, bis das Display schwarz wird, dann die Krone loslassen,

    es erscheint die Begrüßung, und es ist alles ok.

    Nicht zurück setzen, nur die Krone drücken, bis Display schwarz, dann loslassen. Es erscheint eine 

    Begrüßung, und alles ist ok.

    Same here. I received my scanwatch today and it duplicated all the screen options. I can remove them manually, except for the date. This means it shows the date two times and it is quite annoying.

    I received yesterday my scanwatch and, after pairing I had the problem of a duplicate items: two times the date, two times the steps... and I cannot correct via app.

    After a reset it is has the same problem.

    Well... there is another problem with the app: sometimes it asks me to log in again and I have to put two times the password because at th first time it says that the password isn't correct. But it is always the same!!! But why should it ask me the password every time I open the app?
    I have also a scale from Withings and I never had problems.

    I got the watch yesterday and noticed this within a couple of hours of use.  While playing with the app it crashed on me and then I noticed that there was another instance of the app running on my phone that was still running.  As soon as it went down to one app running, the issue disappeared.  Maybe try checking if you have multiple copies of the app running on your phone?

    Thanks bgfoster but it seems to me that it is running only one app. I have an Android (Samsung Note 10+) and when I search for the opened apps there is only one.

    Maybe try closing the app fully from the "opened apps view" and re-open the app.  I'm sure having it paired with 2 phones would give you the issue.

    Ok, I terminated the app from settings-app-health mate -terminate

    At the moment it works. Let's hope...

    Thank you.

    Now let's face the duplicate problem...

    I received the watch today and immediately discovered this bug - Duplicated screens. And the duplicate "Date" screen cannot be removed in the app, the others may be disabled by removing the checkmark.

    Please fix this.

    Same problem for me. I tried to force kill the app but nothing change. I still have the duplicate on my watch and inside the application. Not able to remove the duplicate times :/

    Pressing the crown for 30 seconds until the screen goes dark, as suggested, did not work for me.

    Disassociating the watch and doing a factory reset worked yesterday, but today the duplicates came back. I'll not go through this and the setup again, just to find the duplicates re-appear by tomorrow.

    For now I've manually deselected the duplicates in the "Customize Screens" menu and live with the duplicate time/date, which cannot be deselected.

    Also got the duplicate time screen issue. Really poor from Withings - this simply isn't good enough QA on a €300 watch. I'll be returning the product if this isn't fixed urgently.

    I discovered this evening that the duplicate screen problem is gone on my watch and in my app.

    I have not done any reset or reinstall operations so this may have been corrected by Withings.

    Duplicates now disappeared in watch and app for me too. I did not install any updates, strange.

    It has happened also to me for a fews seconds while I was looking at the watch but then the duplicates were back!

    I had the same problem, it was due to firmware update.

    • Get the latest version of the app and the latest version of the firmware.
    • Disconnect the watch from the device (phone).
    • Then factory reset the watch, you won't loose much as nothing is stored on the watch

    This process has solved the problem for me.
