REM Sleep Tracking

Hello, The packaging and past marketing material list three sleep stages: Deep, light and REM sleep which ScanWatch is supposed to be tracking. However, I only get Deep and Light sleep phases. I previously reached out to the Withings support and was told that REM sleep tracking is on the roadmap which was then later debunked by another customer service team member on Twitter. So my question: Will REM sleep be tracked in a future update (if so, when?) or is Withings falsely advertising its products?

    While we await the highly anticipated enhancements to our sleep tracking system which was the winner of our poll; we will be happy to share a quick piece about how the watch tracks sleep stages. 

     

    The sleep stages (e.g. light and deep) are measured based on wrist movements.

    I agree with Alex if it's on the packaging and there marketing these features should be present. Or they should be updating the software ASAP.

    I also contacted Support about this and sent a photograph of the box to show it shows REM sleep.  Was just told they’d pass it on.  Very disappointed nothing is happening about it.

    It's apparently planned - that's what they told this YouTuber - but they didn't reveal WHEN it would be released.

    Had my Scanwatch imported from the UK. Packaging does NOT show Rem sleep. Only light and deep sleep. "Sleep Cycles: Deep, Light"

    REM sleep will be coming when only withings can tell. But I had a glitch this morning in the sleep graph I saw REM sleep in the graph. For a few sec, s the it when back to normal graph.

    Is there something new about REM tracking ? This is already standard on a couple or smart watches; a good exemple are the POLAR watches. Withings is so proud of their health features, which include night scan. But showing REM only as part of the DEEP sleep is no more state of the art.

    Two questions: a) when will REM be shown separately from DEEP ?

    b) will this be a software update or require a new hardware model ?

    REM sleep will be coming .they did not give no date. Come on withings it's been 8 month's and 22 votes .they also wil. Be a weather option I would like to temp and air quality. On watch face . Also in the app showing 2 matrix's.

    I am personally very disappointed to see this feature missing, as I just returned another smart watch with rem tracking in favor of this one specifically because it had rem tracking as well. Please add REM tracking to your watches.

    It would be polite and appropriate with any response on the missing and still promissed  REM functionality
