Hi, for me HM offers the update nicely, it starts the process and at random percentages it stops (max I got was 43%) and says "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again."
Have tried approx 15 times by now :D
Restarted the watch, restarted the app, the phone, so far nothing helped to get to the end.

I’m in Poland and have received a notification about two days ago informing me that the update is available. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to install the upgrade because my Healthmate app has started crashing every time the phone tries to sync with it. Running iphone 11 ios 13.5.1 and the newest Healthmate app. Very disappointed with this product on many levels.

@Qnapper,
I agree the customer support is not the strongest point of Withings. That is a pitty, because it was. And because they are French, and I am too. The scanwatch is the 5th product I buy to them.
I disagree with you, an upgrade could be progressive, and especially when you have devices and upgrade of firmware which could kill the device in case of specific conditions that the company can not test. In fact it is impossible to a company to test all the cases a user can be. Suppose that 30% of the devices could be killed, it is better to test it on 100 watches, than thousands of watches. They will have to send only 30 watches, and not many hundreds or thousends.

thierry you point is not valid because the software update is NOT beta and therefore should be for ALL not some!!!! If it was Beta then yes and if you belonged to a "beta" group this would work.
I love the look of the watch, but too many things are so wrong with the firmware that it can not be trusted. At least APPLE fix a problem or inform their customers what is happening.
Withings have failed with this watch and if I could get my money back I would.

I totally agree Qnapper. What Thierry says doesn't make any sense. If it's beta firmware, let the beta tester try it out. It is totally absurd that a new firmware is released and it works only for some people. Also, it is not even known what this update fixes. The company has very bad communication with its customers

I wish I had read this before buying the watc:

What is going on Qnapper ? What are you guys so on edge?
I want to ask you a question:
Would you rather receive the update now and it breaks your watch or wait a bit longer and and fixes all your problems?
It's important to remember that there are humans behind this company and products. And as much as we would want them to spend the time to chat with us here, I think it is more sensible for them to work on the update.
I know it can be frustrating when something is not working well or how we expect but come on...
Lets keep the community positive and supportive.
-
You Sir are missing the point.............. Put out an update BUT not for everyone or at least NOT EVERYONE can download it.
That is MY POINT
You state 'Lets keep the community positive and supportive' - great idea BUT they ARE NOT SUPPORTING the community. We the owners are the only ones who are talking to each other NOT the makers...................

I purchased the watch while in the UK and I am back in the states. I was able to update the firmware with no issue and it is not been released in the USA. Not sure why some of you would see the update and others do not. I should have never seen the update if it was released gradually throughout the country. I am not using a VPN either.

@Qnapper, and @fjavierpe
I will not discuss about your points. You can have this position, it is legitimate.
I just wanted to explain you the way company that distribute hardware often implement their change process, and I suppose that if you where at their position, you will implement also this process.
Obviously, often, we have not the same point of view if we are at one position or the other.
And this is your right to ask Withings to get back the watch and reimburse you.
Are you talking of the update of the app or of the firmware :
What is your os (Android or iOS) ?
What is now the version of your app (on your phone) ?
What is now the version of your watch ?
Anybody got the new firmware?
