You’re not alone. Since last update the steps isn’t right. The watch shows one number and the app another.

I’ve been noticing the same issue the last couple of days of my steps being different from the watch to the app. Some times it’s by 10 steps (no big deal) but yesterday it was by over 100 steps.

@lorengrace6 same here, and it was also 100 steps wrong. And the same numbers today, or exactly 102 steps more in the watch than in the health mate-app.

Completely agree with everyone.  When I purchased the watch about 6 months ago, accuracy was pretty decent and then they updated the software and now the watch is useless.  Support tried being helpful, but there is no software rollback feature.  They kept telling me to use Workout mode or make sure it's connected to my phone to use the GPS for better accuracy.  What's the point if it needs to use the phone?  I would never buy anything from Withings again.

I’ve only had mine fir a month but it’s accuracy seems terrible. The number of steps seems completely out - it says I walked 5 miles but only 7000 steps which is impossible - anyone else had this problem ?

I have not had an issue with steps, but I am having an issue with the calories being off espically while working out.

@N.richey21 and how would know that the calories expended are off when 99% of calorie expended trackers are incorrect?

@lorengrace6 🤔 correct they are not 100% correct unless you wear the bands but when you are working out and 5 of the people you are also working out with doing the exact same exercises are counting calories their's are anywhere from 450-600 and yours says 216 and you know based on heart rate and the exercise you did burned more calories than 200. 🤔 I could understand being off by like 20-50 off in count but not several hundred.

@n.richey21 theory still doesn’t hold when every person burns calories differently. And, again, calorie expenditure trackers are 99% inaccurate. Plus, people tend to overestimate the calories they are expending. So....a tracker, and your estimate, will never be accurate 🤷🏼‍♀️
