Thermo stopped displaying names

    I have that EXACT same issue.  Until this morning, it worked as expected  Today, it does not.

    I also tried removing the batteries, reinstalling the Thermo app, deleting and re-adding the device and going through the update/setup process several times and it does not correct the issue.  My measurements still appear in both the Thermo and Withings Health Mate apps.  What happened?  WITHINGS PLEASE HELP!

    Same here. Where the name should display is a blank. Interestingly, not every name has disappeared.

    I found a workaround !!!

    Just modify the names in the App, for instance adding o removing a letter.

    The new names are get synchronized and visible again after some minutes.

    If you don't see any change retry after a while.

    It's recommended to leave the phone close to Thermo.

    My Thermo stopped displaying my user name today. It will display the other 2 family members if I keep swiping, but it is blank where my name should be. If I click the button on the blank, the reading is assigned to my name. How do I get it to start displaying my name again?

    I am another person with the same issue. Screen goes blank when I scroll up for my name. However if I tap where my name should have been displayed, the measurement is associated to me in the Thermo app

    Glad I'm not alone. Coincidently, there was an update to the Health Mate app yesterday and my thermo hasn't worked since.

    I'm having the same problem with my BPM Connect. It used to display the names based on the users on the Healthmate apps we have on our families devices. However, now it ONLY shows me GUEST...GUEST...GUEST...GUEST and will not allow me to hold the button down to switch to a different user to assign the reading to.

    I'm guessing, since you are all having the same kind of issue today, it has to do with WITHINGS's database/website.

    Das gleiche Problem, es wird von 2 hinterlegten Namen nur noch einer angezeigt, beim Wechseln durch Wischen zu dem 2. Namen zeigt das Display keinen Namen wehr an.

    Same issue here!

    Most probably related to the recently update iOS App Health Mate version 5.2.2, nothing else has changed.

    Main app never updated for over a year, and now during the transition to Health Mate you have created an incident.

    Honestly I'm little bit frustrated.

    My thermo started this a few days ago and my bpm has started doing the same today. Also having issues with the thermo updating the app.

    Same issue here. Seems to have appeared when the healthmate app was updated 2 days ago for iOS. Also sent a support mail but so far no response.  

    3 users and all are blank now! 

    Please upvote the first post so it raises awareness of the issue!

    Same here, both my Thermo & BPM cuff are both not displaying names. Before I saw this post, I completely reset my Thermo (6 clicks + 5 clicks) deleted the app and removed from my phones Bluetooth list... also replaced the batteries which suggested 55%. Nothing appears to work.

    Hey roby2037!

    It works! Thank you for the hint! The workaround was so obvious that I did not think it can be so easy :)

    In my case it was sufficient to add an extra space to my first name, save, then immediatelly remove the space and save again.

    I think the device, Thermo or BPM must do a sync prior to display the correct names. It seems that it does not have to go through the whole measurement process. In my case it was enough to turn on BPM and, by long pressing, switch it off. It had to sync somewhere in between. Next session - all names fixed! :)

    wir haben das gleiche Problem. Seit gestern funktioniert es nicht mehr. Es werden keine Namen beim Wischen angezeigt.

    I'm having the same problem, it takes the temperature but does not display my name. It just happen 2 days ago to me. When I tap where my name would be it just tells me the temps it has recorded for me. It's still recording data to my iPhone. Any clues yet?

    Reminds me of when Withings tried to change over to the Nokia app and all our old data disappeared and the Nokia app would not work, etc.  They failed to make sure any of that worked before releasing it on the public.  This is another such problem, though maybe not as serious.
