Heath Mate not syncing all items with Apple Health

even though all permissions are set correctly it is shown as "inactive" in the blood pressure settings in the Apple Health app. Even the latest 5.3.1 unfortunately did NOT solve the problem ... Withings support has not yet answered ...

My issue is with weight data but it’s the same problem; permissions are correct and have tried uninstalling/ reinstalling etc. Happened after update. December 5th is last weight data healthmate displays. Reported via email but slow response and no resolution to date

strange update: I just realized, that suddenly the data are syncing again ...

Only data from Dec 8th and Dec 9th (whole day) and Dec 10th (morning) are still missing

That’s good news for you gertsch66. Maybe there’s hope for us! Did you do anything specific that you can think of?

Mine is still stuck on December 5. I’m not getting prompt support or acknowledgment from customer support either. I’ve deleted and reinstalled umpteen times, linked and unlinked, shutdown and restarted. I hit my goal weight on one day too (but it bounced up again next day grrr). Just want my data to sync...

@cheesy.keenan: nope I didn't do anything ... just had a look at the Apple Health app this morning to be surprised that the latest synced data suddenly appeared ...

My weight data is not coming across from the Apple Health App. I believe it’s data from a third party app (in this case EufyLife) that’s not syncing. If I add data myself into Apple Health it syncs the manually entered data. However if the data comes from a third party app into Apple Health, it does not sync it.

T42robert that’s interesting and I think v relavent. I record my weight in zoom and before Dec 5 everything synced ok.

I can see my zoom data in Apple health but it’s not coming through to healthmate. Anyway, I think you may be onto something with the 3rd party.

Have you also notified support?

I hope this can be fixed soon. It’s been dragging on a bit.

@cheesy.keenan I have the same issue with weight. Suddenly it has stopped syncing with Apple Health. New weight data is presented in Apple Health App (it is coming from another app which is connected to a smart scale) and is syncing with all other fitness apps (MyFitnessPal, Strava, etc) and only HealthMate app doesn’t have it. The last synced chunk of weight data was on October 31

I have this very same problem too. In my situation, Health Mate is not reliably reading data from the Weight, body fat, BMI categories of the native Health app.

Here’s my scenario:

Using the Shortcut app, I’ve developed a “program” that I use to log my weight, body fat %, and bmi. It’s easier than having to hunt through the Health app categories each time. I’m able to successfully use this method to log my data in the native-Health app. Health Mate has permission to read and write all categories that it wants. However, it hasn’t read this morning’s body weight/bmi/fat % measurment. For some reason, it did read yesterday’s measurment when I added it yesterday.

If there were a way to manually force sync, that would be great.

I’ve written to Support. Hopefully we get a response.

They also won’t answer to my support ticket. I am very unhappy of such a bad support

I periodically get acknowledged on my support ticket and finally was told it had been passed to a technical team but evidently it isn’t being taken seriously (or maybe it is, it’s hard to fix and they are being crap with comms). I suspect this issue is at the back of a queue somewhere. It isn’t good enough.

Just an update to my earlier post. I lodged a ticket with Withings 2 weeks ago about this issue (request no 1523534)

My BP data stopped syncing from the Apple Health App on 12/4/20 as well.  Any response as to when this will be fixed?  Will we be able to capture all readings from 12/5/20 to the present?

The Customer support rep told me that “...only the last two weeks of data will be imported”. Note that you have to manually invoke syncing (I.e you have to go into the Health Mate app to start the syncing process). This is consistent with what I observe.
However, he also said that “...., we only import steps and heart rate from the Apple Health.” which we know is not true as it also imports height, weight as well as others.  I think he’s mixing import with export.
In short, no it won’t capture any data more than 2 week old.

iOS version 5.3.3 seems to have fixed the problem.

Interesting. I’m still on 5.3.2 and can’t see the update but I’ll keep an eye out. Sounds hopeful

Just updated to version 5.3.3: blood pressure not yet synching. Looking for a workaround ... 

@gbigmore finally! It is working for me as well.

For sync to be working in 5.3.3 I had to do these steps:

1) Update Health Mate to 5.3.3

2) Go to Apple Health -> My picture at the top right corver -> Apps -> Health Mate -> Turn off all

3) Delete Health Mate from the iPhone (not just from the Home Screen)

4) Reinstall Helth Mate from the App Store and log in to my account

5) In the app give access to Apple Health again (or do it like in step 2 but turn on instead)

And it is working now!

Not sure if any of these steps is neccesary, but it is what I did to make it work.

Yess!!! 

1) Update to 5.3.3

2) Delete the App

3) Reinstall (giving complete access do Apple Health again)

And now it's working 

Hey everyone! I just tried that trick on 5.5.1 and no go. All of my permissions are fine but my BP readings won’t sync to Apple Health. I did everything in the prior posts, but nothing. Heath keeps saying there’s no app to give that data even though HM is there & the permissions are on.
