Hi,
I bought the Body + for my daughter, who has anorexia and bulimia. That was because the packaging said the presentation of the data could be altered. (And the salesman supported the packaging pitch that we could achieve the planned objective with the Body+ device.)
To get my daughter to not see the overall weight and focus on just muscle mass was potentially a way to lead her out of the woods. (Even if she was alright with keeping her body fat constant (i.e. low), she would get far healthier than using a normal scales.)
However, the presentations of the screens do not allow for such a set up, as the set up to motivate weight loss. And that would literally kill my daughter.
Do you have some other software that I can install on the device that will enable appropriate adjustability of the screen presentations? (eg Overall weight should not be the first screen seen. If possible it would be not seen at all by people with these eating disorders or similar.)
Or is there a developer's kit that I can use to create such a presentation that will work for these types of people? (I am a computer programmer.)
Thanks
David Miers
PS: Point 2: Our skeletal weights are incredibly low (for the 3 people using /testing it at present). It comes up with around 3 kilos (not the expected 12-14 kg, as it should). Is there a solution for this?

So the weight trend you can get rid of in the settings. Not the weight tho. You could cover the screen and only review the measurements on a phone/tablet. Unfortunately with the new Health Mate updates you can't select what you want to see but you could try installing an older version from early 2020. There was the option to hide the weight for example and only show muscle mass etc.

Can you please provide a link (and or whatever instructions) to a recommended older version that will definitely work to remove the weight (and hopefully other parameters if needed), thanks.
Please remember that control is via the phone. (And no older versions seem available on Google Playstore). I have a Samsung Galaxy 10 Note+
I can try and use my computer but it does not have a bluetooth device.

Sorry but this is FUTILE. The software keeps updating itself to the latest versions. Is there a way to shut that function off? Or is it best just to return the product?
If it can just shut that function off then... is there software that gives an option to see the parameters (eg. body mass) as kilograms (and not as percentages)?

That method turns off ALL apps automatic updates. (Not just Healthmate, which should have its own individual control, if it was well programmed.) But more importantly, your company attitude to your customers, is well reflected in that last comment of yours, Tristan. It would seem you have some psychological issues that need to be addressed. particularly that need to feel superior. Maybe they should consider not working you in their customer service.
My conclusion at this point is that I think it best to just return this product. The claims to the products capabilities were excessive and the ensuing hassles are not worth it.
