Hello. I bought a used WSB01, and probably should have done a little more research, but I did get it working and wanted to share my experience in case someone ends up here like me looking for answers. I was surprised that this unit didn't have Bluetooth, which is why it couldn't be added via the app. I downloaded the pairingwizard_Windows.exe (also not an easy task as Withings' website doesn't seem to like certain browsers), but could not get it to work on my less than a year old Lenovo Thinkpad L14. I happen to have a super old Lenovo T61 (circa 2007) that is currently running the 32-bit version of Windows 10 and the pairing wizard runs fine on it, and I was able to get the scale on my wifi after also digging around the house for a mini USB cable. I had to leave the scale connected via USB in order to connect it to my account as well via the Withings website. So in short, if you can find a computer with a 32-bit operating system, you should be able to connect this to your wifi and account. Withings just needs to recompile the pairing wizard so that it works on 64 bit operating systems. It's a small app so it can't be that hard...
