    Hello,

    While we await the highly anticipated enhancements to our sleep tracking system which was the winner of our poll; we are happy to share a quick piece about how the watch tracks sleep stages. 

    The sleep stages (e.g. light and deep) are measured based on wrist movement.

    It doesn't count the steps correctly so the sensor cannot detect many of the movements hence very inaccurate sleep tracking. ANd you are right other trackers do 3 or 4 phases.

    Yes REM phases are missing on the Withings watches.. 

    Cycling tracking is not accurate and can't be disabled

    We are all waiting for REM sleep when will it be add nobody knows.
