i noticed it, and on mine it actually only happened when the hands were blocking the screen. When they were well away from the screen, all was fine and they didnt move.

It's not a bug but a special feature instead. When I got my ScanWatch, that is the first thing I noticed and I can't sleep thinking about why it's doing that thing (analog time goes to 10:10). I was so curious so I decided to call Withings about it. I found out that on the 42mm black model of the ScanWatch if one or both hands are over the display when the button is pressed, the hands will move to the 10:10 position. They confirmed that this feature exists only on the black 42mm model.

Yes, it's always been a known feature, but W don't mention it in their blurb so please keep commenting on it, and why only the 42mm black? If the hands block the display why not do it on all Models!?

Because the one on the black 42mm version are very thick. On all other models they are thinner

I find itva real nice and cool feature, so perhaps rename "issue" into feature, and update your profile with a named alias?

For Withings, give a bit of context...
It looked weird but nice to see the three hands nicely spaced (okay the hour hand was one tick off, but was easily rectified in setup) but the first action we tried was to set the time with the crown, feeling very disconnected😉
It's a seamingly smallthing, but for us ASSgburgers just a little more context and feedback would be quite assuring, stepping in the wondrous world of (hybrid) smartwatches
