    Dear users,

Thank you for creating and commenting on this post. Please know the deployment of Vascular Age is still under progress. This is why some of you have not been able to update their Body Cardio with the new firmware 2101. Since we understand that several of our users would want to get the new feature as soon as possible, we have decided to make it possible for you to contact us so that we can prioritize your cases. Please fill the form to receive the firmware in priority by clicking here and we will release it to you as soon as possible.

Regarding the “X” issue that some of you are encountering, please know that you need to weigh yourselves 5 times so Vascular Age is measured. The Latest Measurements heading under the Home tab in the Health Mate app will display the number of successful measurements taken, as well as how many remain.

Also, even if PWV is not available outside of Europe, the Vascular Age feature is available everywhere. You do not need the PWV feature in order to get it. For those who are wondering why we decided to deactivate the PWV feature outside of Europe, it is due to the fact that this functionality requires different levels of regulatory approval depending on each country (which is not the case for Europe). However, with Vascular Age, we give every Body Cardio user access to an interpretation of this metric and provide them an accurate cardiovascular health biomarker. Vascular Age is replacing PWV as an innovative and accurate metric to get insight on your cardiovascular health.

    Have a great day,

Hey. I actually have two Body Cardio scales. I ordered a second as I was having issues with my 2016 model and body composition measurements.

Just posted update re 2016 scale. Totally working once again! Haven’t even unpacked my new scale that arrived yesterday. The firmware update hit my 2016 scale this morning.

For the firmware update I didn’t do anything. Within Heath Mate app, under devise I noticed version read 2101 so went to my screen setting and added vascular age. Haven’t taken measurement yet since update. Waiting for tomorrow am weigh in (EST)

It be nice that when you check for update it trigger the update instead of saying is up to date when it clearly isn't.

Yeah I that's a real bummer. I think they just do it on a serial number basis

Well, stepped on scale this am with 2101 installed and all screen options enabled, including vascular age, and scale cycles through all, gives readings for all and then comes to vascular age (defaults to last as new) and guess what...the dreaded "X".

Getting tired of seemingly always having to trouble shoot Withings products. They should work out of the box.

So I’m now reading that on the Body Cardio scale I just received this Mon in Canada will measure my body composition via BIA but vascular age will be measured via PWV which is disabled for devises not bought in the EU, obviously including Canada?!

    This can’t be right 🤦🏼‍♂️

Also just realized my new ScanWatch does not support ECG readings in Canada 🇨🇦

    Frustrating.

It's measuring the vascular age using the PWV technology but they don't have certification to display PWV readings that's why. It's not forbidden to use the technology for something else

    Hi all.

Wanted to provide update from Canada.

I was using an original 2016 Body Cardio that worked well, until PWV for Body Composition was pulled from non-EU users and other technical issues. Found since 2020 had to fight with my 2016 scale to enable all features. Then 2101 was released and I was excited re vascular age, but got the dreaded "X".

So I bought new Body Cardio (Canada), which I understand uses BIA to measure body composition and PWV for vascular age. After 5 easy successful weigh-ins I am happy to say I am loving my new fully functioning scale. All measurements reporting and captured by app.

Above, with my new Scan Watch and it's ability to track sleep, are offering me a complete health check snapshot each morning.

Hope you all have similar experience once you flip to 2101.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Now is Saturday here in Us weeks end today for us not Sunday and no firmware yet. This cannot be that hard. Why send an email out about something that was going to take so long. I would have prefer notice once pushed instead of having to wait indefinitely.

I really do not  understand the dificulty to push a small firmware on a product. Its a good idea to explain what happened on the latest firmware.
