    Dear Armelle,

     

    As I mentioned, I have raised this issue numerous times, but customer keeps saying it will be addressed sometimes in the future, and keep closing the request as "solved". My latest was about a month ago. #1575471. I would be most grateful for your assistance in resolving this matter.

    I appreciate your response to my initial request for more feedback on this forum a few months ago, but I have been rather disappointed in the number of threads you have responded to.  I know there have been a few major issues that have required fixing / new versions, but meanwhile most other issues logged here have been completely ignored or at least not responded to.  Even an indication that you have read a thread with an initial response would help - for example: can't reproduce / bug - support are aware / currently being fixed / feature request, etc (preferably within a few days of each new thread to prevent misunderstanding and incorrect responses from other "experts"!).
     
    I note a STATUS flag is available but of the 450+ threads, only 31=Answered & just 1=Completed.  Planned & Not Planned are both =0   :-(  Why don't you use this?
     
    Some issues have now been reported for over a year / multiple times without any response from support.  One good example of this is the "Incorrect cycling activities detection" which has been reported by many people on (at least) 6 different threads.   So I have raised a Support request to fix this specific issue ASAP as it is a HUGE annoyance to many owners.  Support probably already know of this (others say they already have reported - but how do we know / your response?).

    Thank you for emailing us regarding the cycling activities detection. Thanks to the several threads on the Forum, I was able to give details to the developers a few weeks ago. I am happy to tell you that we are working on a solution for it. As soon as I have a date, I will share it with you.

    Hi Armelle and Chris,

    Thanks for your efforts in trying to clean up and moderate this forum. I'm new here and have found the forum helpful but messy. May I suggest

    • you allow the person who originates the post, to be able to mark a response as answering the question.
    • you allow people to categorise further than just the product, e.g. Bug, Question, Feature Request
    • you allow reader to filter by these categories to help them find if their question has already been answered, rather than creating a duplicate
    • you reach out to trusted contributors to help with the clean up

    Despite some problems with the app, I am very happy with it. Keep up the great work.

    Hi Stephen, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, despite that optimistic posting from Armelle & Chris the number of helpful postings from them since has only gone from none to hardly any over the last 4 months. Some feedback on each, if only a brief status report, would be helpful, but they seem to have other priorities. I wouldn't mind so much if they released fixes, but that does happen either! Don't hold your breath 😖

    Thanks Dave, good to know and places even more importance on enabling the community to self organise and support each other through some tweaks to the forum software.

    My suspicion is that the Forum uses Zendesk which has the ability to let trusted community members self organise.

    @armelle - it is now over 5 months and we are STILL waiting for more information on bug fixes and responses to people's general concerns. All I've seen is comments on issues with specific watches - little if anything on general improvements. The latest soft/firmware make no difference.
    We need actions / information NOW.
