Move reminder feature

Couldn't agree more, the Fitbit ability to give you a 'prod' every hour if you haven't hit a minimum step target is great.

I prefer the Withings hardware but some of the Fitbit functionality is missed.

Agreed. Fairly basic feature that the average desk jockey could really use!

Also called an 'inactivity monitor'. I heard that before Fitbit added this feature it was their most requested feature and it is the feature that made the Garmin Vivoactive a popular fitness device.

I asked for this feature when I first got the Steel HR--back when the watch first came out. Maybe there's some reason it can't be added to the present watches, but it should at least be added to new models.

Every smartwatch has this feature. Should be standard in their products.

Well the activity reminders has been deployed for the scanwatch. Hope then can do something similar for the steel HR.

Before buying the STEEL HR s, i owned couple of Garmin sports bands and they all have this future by default.
We want this future Withings plz.

Super basic feature that almost every other activity tracker has. 

Second this. Please add an option to buzz if you didn't take x steps in x minutes. I'd love to get a reminder to get up from my desk every so often. 

Until this is implemented, you think we could use an external app (Health?) that sends reminders recognised by Health Mate? Any ideas? 

Why on earth has this feature not been added?? This was being asked for 3 years ago on Reddit! And an entire year ago on your own customer suggestions. Make this a feature or program that you can turn on or off. It cannot be that hard to institute, seriously.

I am considering Scanwatch. I had Withings Pop and then preordered Steel HR. Now I've lived with Garmin watch which is fine but clumsy. I like the movement reminder and body battery percentage. It's weird that the movement reminder feature isn't yet added, but probably it's because the watch itself seems to do very little analysing hence the great battery life. Hopefully this feature can be implemented soon. Would help with

I recently picked up a ScanWatch and feel like it is really missing this feature. A notification after x minutes of inactivity would be really helpful for us desk people.

I've got a ScanWatch too and it's the one feature I would really like to see in a future software update. I'd sacrifice a little battery life to have it.

Just got my Steel HR Sport, and overall I think it is a good product for the cost, I'm really surprised this feature is not there. Throwing my hat in that I would want this. What would be really great is an api for developers to make their own apps for the watch because I've noticed a few other missing features. Also the alarm is pretty worthless because it only vibrates for a few seconds. Overslept my very first alarm, good thing I had a backup.

Sheesh I hope so... but chances are, at this rate you'll have to wait another 3 years for them to add in a feature that _every other_ smart watch on the market has... *eyeroll.  Absolutely love my withing watch but its ridiculous that this feature is not available and that these comments haven't been addressed for years. oh well, all we can do is keep waiting and commenting.

I switched from Fitbit to Withings, and it feels like a downgrade even though the watches are more expensive.
I find the Fitbit app way better, and the move reminder is a feature offered by most other brands.

I am very disappointed to find that the move reminder feature it's not available on the Scanwatch.
The activity reminder is just an alarm like we could have on our phone. I don't see the added value.

It's a shame that five years after the first comment, nothing has been done so far.
I am considering changing watches as, for me, it's one of the most important features 🤷🏿
