I have a Steel HR but it hasn’t tracked my sleep since 16th January, is there any reason why? and is anyone else having the same problem.

Hi tony, i agree with that, especially because sometimes it’s hard to discriminate between reeding and trying to sleep. It would be great if starting a « sleep activity » also enables the do not disturb mode.

It seems that nap detection has been disabled, although some documentation still refers to it.

My sleep patterns are very erratic, I work in a hospital, I may be awaken during the night to respond to emergencies. So I may sleep 2-3 hrs. Then I may nap 1-2 hrs during the day. I understand the naps feature is disabled, so when I do sleep for short periods my Pulse HR will not track it (will not track anything less than 3 continuous hours) That’s very disappointing. What gets tracked in a 24 hr period isn’t always very accurate, I wish there was some better sleep tracking mode available.

The sleep feature is very erratic and doesn't record my sleep often until 2-3 hours after I fall asleep!

I don't even need nap detection... Just the option to log a nap would be nice

I am retired and my sleep pattern is somewhat broken up.  I generally fall asleep in my easy chair for a couple of hours, then get into bed where my sustained sleep is not usually any more than 2 to 4 hours.  Apparently the only sleep that is ever recorded are the longer periods. I may end up totally 6 or 7 hours but usually see no more than 4 hours registered.  I have the Steel HR & the scale and have just purchased the Pulse HR.  Unless the sleep detection can be improved, I'm not going to worry much about it.  As long as I know how much I'm sleeping, it doesn't make too much difference.  A lot of technology is glitchy; even GPS fluctuates greatly when I'm riding my bicycle.  The MPH varies to the point that I may ride 20 miles but only 15 may get registered on my bike app.  I still enjoy my Withings products, especially the very useful notifications feature.

I just found a great app to track snoring, Snorelab and it would be great if sleep tracking in Withings worked the same way, better yet, partner with them or buy them and incorporate this feature into the Withing app.  I found that tracking my snoring is a great way to determine how well I slept.

Ive had my watch for a few weeks now and it only starts registering im asleep till 2-3 hrs later. Frustrating as I dont think I have had one accurate night and this is the main reason I bought this watch. I agree with tony, Id love to activate the sleep tracking when I got to bed. Can this be done Whithings?

I think it only tracks after 3 hours of sleep. Which is a bit annoying

Would be nice to let Steel HR summarises all sleeping hours during a day - even shorter periods. When i wake up in the middle of the night after 2-3 hoirs sleeping the watch starts to measure sleeping again from 0. It does not add all the sleeping time to the daily figures.
