    Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are running into some difficulty with your Withings Home. If your Home shows a solid orange light, please try the following steps:

    1) Unplug Home.

    2) Wait 60 seconds.

    3) Plug Home back in.

    4) Wait 60 seconds again.

You should now be able to use your Home again. If it now starts flashing orange, you will need to perform a factory reset. For that, please:

    1) 'Forget' Home from the list of Bluetooth devices in the Bluetooth Settings of your Android or iOS device. If this is not done, you will receive a 'Connection Unsuccessful' or 'ConnectionFailException' message when attempting to connect via Bluetooth during the installation.

    2) Unplug and replug Home 5 times (you must wait for the light to turn on after each time that you plug it back in before unplugging it again). You should unplug the power adapter from the outlet, rather than from the back of the Home, as this ensures that you can unplug it as soon as the light turns on.

    3) On the 6th time that you plug it in, the light on Home will blink orange and then blue after a few seconds. The factory reset is now complete. You can now follow the original setup instructions.

    4) Install your Home again.

If the situation persists, please contact us at https://within.gs/help so we can find a solution for you.

    Have a great day,

I'M having the issue where it pulses Orange. I have tried the factory reset numerous time. Once it flashed green but I can't get it to do that anymore. It seems this is an obsolete bit of tech now. Another Withings bit of tech that just stops working.

I have the same problem with my Withings Home cam as well. I believe that Withings should do something for our cams.

I have three cameras. Only one is working. Might be the one I got replaced a few years ago. The two other cameras I am able to get into bluetooth mode, but it stops there. Not able to connect to the WiFi anymore. I have both 2,4 and 5 GHz.

Same issue here. After moving and not using the camera for a few months it just doesn't work anymore - solid orange light. I'm surprised that Nokia have put its "brand" on this product. Resetting by powering it 5 times also doesn't work (the people who who invented and approved this procedure should be fired).

But Nokia was such a great company in The 90’s. So they will of course fix it. 🙄

I had the problem, but suddenly managed to solve it for one of two cameras. It's worth trying out WiFi 2,4 GHz, not 5 GHz. I am not fully sure, but think that did it for me. So now I have 2 out of 3 cameras working.

Here is how to fix this (amazing tech support cant use plain English to explain)

    1. Make sure your phone is on 2.4 wifi (not 5ghz)
    2. Pull the plug from socket RAPIDLY 6-7 times. Literally in and out.
    3. Light will turn blue
    4. Done.

I have the same problem. It started already in the middle of the year 2021 and I have been without camera at my summer cottage since then. Now I finally went to the location of the camera and took it home for checking.

It shows steady orange all the time. I did the "factory reset" according to the instructions - I even used an extension cord with switch to make off/on-sequences easier. But it did not help, the steady orange stays there, and there is no blinking blue which would indicate that it is ready for initial configuration.

This is already my second camera with the same symptoms. I would say that it is time to say goodbye to these products and use something more reliable.

Hi thomaskfore, how did you solve it?

My camera was on the wlan an worked but I disconnected it, ... and now I had problems connect it again. Did the reset, now it blinks blue, but when try to connect sometime finds the dive not, try it again now it finds , but time is to short to bringt the wlan password in it, after a few seconds it changed. Then the same "Play again" it doesn´t find, it find, it doesn´t find, ... every time I have to start from the beginning, with input the username and password ... its very angious and I'm in the state to throw it away ...

Hi rolandburkert. I somehow managed to force my cam to connect to my 2.4 GHz wifi (I also have 5 GHz). It might be that I was out of reach of my 5 GHz network when I finally made it. Anyone who knows if a firmware update could fix this?

Hi palmbs. I had to login to my router to set up wifi with different names for the two wifi alternatives. Might be different from router to router. Worth testing.

I have tried to find out what is the meaning of the solid orange LED color, but I can not find any hint about it.

What is the camera trying to say to me with that? Is it saying "I am broken, throw me away"?
