    I have exactly the same condition.  Was any resolution forth coming from Withings

    I have gone around and around with Withings Support.  The phone pictured is a Motorola phone.  The Withings products are basically incompatible.  In the case of the Body Cardio, it apparently only uses Bluetooth for setup.  Then it relies on Wifi.  Borrow a friends Samsung phone for the setup process.

    Hello,

    Bluetooth is The connection method that body cardio offers, there is no other way to start setup process.
    I Have Body cardio + LG G7 thinq / OnePlus 2 and no goal with these.. Help! Is there any solution !?!?

    +1 just got the scale yesterday and spent >1 hr trying. I took screenshots and opened a ZenDesk ticket with Withings. I want to be a fan...I had a Withings scale before that was great and I'm on my second watch now (the original "Steel" and now the Sport HR) but this is super frustrating.

    Same here... Got my Body Cardio scale today and the App stucks at "Connecting". Have tried with two phones, Samsung and Nokia 7+, no help... Have been removing the scale from known Bluetooth devises, made factory reset to scale... No help... HR Steel still works with Healt Mate...

    @alexeydnepr833 I had trouble trying to connect with my Android devices. I borrowed an iPad (not sure which mode; but from c. 2016) and it connected on the first try. After that, I have been using my Android devices with nary a hitch.

    I got it working by using my old Android phone (Sony Xperia ), maybe Android version 7 or 8. I updated scale with my old phone and after update scale started working fine with Android 9.

    Astonishing. I received my new Body Cardio today and struggled enough with set-up that I came here to this forum. I use a OnePlus 7Pro (Android) as my smartphone, but have an old back-up iPhone. With my OnePlus, I never could get the scale to get past the "connecting..." phase, even though the scale showed up on my BT settings as "connected." After reading the comments here, I tried with my old iPhone and it worked instantly. I am thrilled to be up and running and appreciate everyone who has left information here to help other users.

    @Withings, it would be really great if your official support materials could also include this info as a tip or troubleshooting suggestion. Of course, it would be even better if the set-up software for Android users was improved! Thanks!

    (note: I did notice that the scale ran a software update during set-up, and it's possible that it ships with an older version of Android compatibility, making it non-functional with newer versions of Android until the update over wifi takes place. If so, it would be interesting to know whether the scale can be connected to a laptop/PC for initial set-up instead of solely via the app.)

    I'm having the same issue with the same mobile Sony Xperia XZ (Android Pie 9) and the Body+. Tried using Health Mate App and also It discovers the scale but will not configure it and as a result does not add it to my device list. 

    I could connect the scale Body + with an iPhone 7 and then update the firmware. After that, I can finally connect with my mobile Sony Xperia XZ (Android Pie 9).
