    Dear all,

Thank you for creating this thread and for your interest in the Heart Rate Variability feature. I am happy to tell you that this has reached our developers’ ears and that we have recently started to work on the HRV for ScanWatch!  We will require some time to release it to ensure the quality of functionality. However, I will keep you updated and share the good news with you once it is available.

Thank you for being part of our Community!

HRV is an essential requirement for all you activity watches, bands, and cuff/BP monitoring systems.

HRV can give great insight into integrated health-nutrition-lifestyle.

HRV may not be well known by the general health community, but that shouldn't be a problem because Withings is a leader, not a follower, and can use their app to inform people of the value of HRV.

HRV should be a standard part of any fitness device. Hoping for it to bee integrated as soon as possible!

Would love HRV in watch! Nighttime hrv like Oura ring or just for a session like with polar h7.

I so support the request to incorporate the HRV signal in ScanWatch measurements. HRV will enhance the value of your offering, as it represents a useful index for many many use cases.

Nevertheless, HRV is easily computed from the ECG signal.

Please, help us remain in the Withings ecosystem!

I love Withings, but I've ended up with a competitor's wearable ring to track HRV for now because you offer no options at this point. I'll be keeping my eye on your future products.

I've suggested it to their support team too via email, and they said they would forward it to the developers (same comment they made two years ago). I think if more people kept emailing them directly (support email is contact-sup@withings.com) we may get a better response on getting this feature added- it seems Withings isn't actively monitoring this forum.

    Hello,

I am a bit surprised, that after multiple years the feature is not yet available. I am my self looking for HRV capabilities. I have already multiple of your devices and have promoted them to friends, colleagues and family. It would be very sad for me to go to another vendor and another app just for this feature that would be easily added to the ScanWatch.

Hope, this will see the day soon.

    Regards,
    Jean

I switched from the Apple watch 2 to the scanwatch because I liked the design a lot and for a hybrid watch it has a lot of features. Unfortunately this one is missing, please add it as a function

I do agree with your remark, regarding the introduction of HRV in ScanWatch measurements.

Does anybody from the management team of Withings follow this portal?

We deserve a valid and prompt reply.

    Hello @dresnick1,

It will be available after a firmware update, no need to buy a new ScanWatch!

    Cheers,

I would definitely buy a withings watch if this metric would be available in the app, such as “HRV during sleep” as a daily monitoring value. Currently I choosed the WHOOP option just to have this value….
Why is withings so long at implementing this “Must have” feature?!

After 2 years, the story goes on... I recently bought a Move ECG device and I still cannot retrieve my ECG signals to compute HRV. The API documentation says I can gather all data, however, I can access steps, sleep, training, but not ECG, all requests are empty, it is like if I did not record any ECG at all. I discussed this with support but, after many mails, they could not give me a solution. I am very dissappointed with the situation, the potential is huge but these limitations stop me from trying to build up anything around Withing devices.

@Armelle - Great news. So will this be pushed via Firmware update to the current ScanWatch, or will HRV only be available on future ScanWatch models?
