    From the page you linked:
"Note: When a workout or sports session is launched on the Steel HR / Steel HR Sport, the display of the watch will remain on, at full brightness, until workout mode is ended. This is normal behavior and does not indicate an issue with the watch."

This is the behaviour I am suggesting it would be useful to have control over, when you are in a workout or sports session (not just in normal mode). Full brightness is sometimes too much. Does that make sense?

I have been getting scolded for the brightness of the display in indoor cycling classes, which are typically dark. They think I'm on my cell phone. It does not seem to automatically detect an activity. I'm going to try to cover it with a wristband, but this is a frustrating feature and makes the watch a lot less useful for me!
