When will Withings return the Pulse Wave Velocity function to my Body Cardio Scale. If you will not return it how can we believe that any function you sell will remain on your devices???
I want my Pulse Wave Function back NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suspect never, they got cold feet as PWV is getting recognised as a valuable cardiac diagnosis tool so I suspect they got worried the scales might get classified as medical equipment and need the appropriate liscenses. I would also expect if they were to re-introduce it they would do it on a newer set of scales and charge even more money for it. Just look at it as a learning curve and an insight into the sort of company Withings is.

I've seen two products I might have been interested in buying, but I gave it a hard pass, since I have been so disappointed with the PWV feature removal disaster.
Withings might as well fire their whole marketing team. There's no need to spend any money on marketing when you have such a black eye.
Your newer customers will be such a small proportion that haven't heard of you yet, or won't look for buzz words like cheated or unresponsive.
How hard can it be to add a few words like "for informational purposes only, not to be used for the treatment or diagnosis of any medical condition" to the instruction manual.

It is the same for me with any Nokia Products. It seems that the problem is not that we use the data in some fashion, but that the App uses the data. If it is a "medical" data that is covered by HIPPA rules in the US and other rules outside the US, then the Withing/Nokia people would need to separate that data from the data they routinely sell.
Its was all about the money the company could make from our data. The hassle to keep this piece of data secure was not worth it to the company. They want to be able to sell the data for many purposes. We are the guinea pigs. It was worth it for me when there was useful data in the Body Cardio. Now there is only standard info and no reason to spend the extra money for the product. Both the warning and the maintenance of our privacy were required. Whithings and Nokia did not want to maintain our privacy in order to deliver what they sold us.
Withing still does not care a whit about keeping us whole. Just the profit nothing else. Does not want to compromise their ability to sell our data to various groups to make money for themselves.
Quite lying to us by only telling the half truth about why the Pulse Wave Velocity could not be on our devices. The classification of it as possibly medical information, requires a higher level of security than our personal data, and it may not be available to sell. That's the only reason we could not have the functionality we bought.
I am totally disgusted with both companies

When i bought my BC scale, at first it seemed impossible to connect to it or configure it. (moto g6+ an moto g7+)
I decided to try an older android device (moto g3). With this older phone I was able to setup the BT connection and do the wifi configuration. I updated the scale to the latest firmware. The moto g6+ an g7+ could pair after that.
After that i used the scale a few days. Then suddenly the PWV calibration started. Not sure there was another OTA firmware update done in background. The PWV measurements showed up in de web portal, but not in the (android) app.
They update the app on 14th May 2019... and now the PWV also shows in the app.
