Was there ever a solution to this? Is there anyone who knows the latest firmware for the WBS01?

There is no need for a firmware update. They worked out all the bugs on this scale years ago.

I have had mine since 2011 and it continues to work perfectly. Mine is on V.77.

I have the same problem too. In the app is says select device, but I think because the WBS01 doesn't have bluetooth it doesn't show up. Can the firmware be updated when it's plugged into the computer?

Hi I canged my WiFi network and againg was able to reconect me WBS01 with firmware 77.

Please care about that you have to pörovide a 2.4GHz WLAN as the scale just suport this I think.

No problem with an actual router like a fritzbox you are able to provide 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi.

If you want to setup a new WiFi you have to use a usb cable (smal usb port beside batteries) and the "pairingwizard_Windows.exe" as example for Win10. Just follow following link and perform all steps in your browser after loging in with your withings account.

@sorin.sbarnea: I seen no problem with long term support in this case... I bought the scale something about 8 to 10 years ago

For me, the pairing wizard connects and I try to connect to my new WiFi network (Google WiFi - super awesome) - even though it can see it when it scans, when I try to connect with my psk (password) it tells me it can not find the WiFi network.

When I try to connect it to my old network, same issue.

I get the 0995 error on the screen. None of the help articles help.

I don't think they will release a new firmware for the scale since they no longer manufacture it. I used an older OS version and it worked.

For the record my scale is showing that it is on Firmware version 79. Has anybody seen a more recent version than this? Should I start thinking about replacing this device at this point?

It has wifi so no need for BT. But this is the kind of issue that makes me about buying again from a brand that does not do long term support. Apple did release new firmware long time after the product went out of warranty. They managed to set expectations bar high.
