I would also like this. There is a measurable difference in battery time since it is now always on during an activity,

Would be nice if we can switch it

Don’t understand why this is not a default behavior. 🤔

I agree that we should be able to reduce the screen brightness during exercise. Before this feature was added my watch lasted a couple of weeks between charges. Now that the intensity is 100% I'm lucky to be able to go one week before it needs to be charged. Please allow us to customize brightness (or turn display off) when in exercise mode.

This is so necessary, is also a privacy issue while training in group, everyone can see what's in your watch, don't like that at all.

One of the reasons I like the Withings brand is that they do not look like a smartwatch. Now every time I am doing a workout, my watch face is lit up... Definitely needs to be added.

Yep.  Allow the user to determine whether the screen should be on or off, and if the user chooses "always on", they should have the ability to choose the brightness.

I find that it's very distracting as well while I'm practicing yoga, which is usually in a dimly lit room

For now, I place an electric black tape over my watch during certain group workouts. It's annoying. Very close to returning watch. I might. I still have a couple weeks left to keep trying it out. The aesthetics of the watch is nice though.... Its never a win-win in life.

Also, if you change the screen to the miles per hour screen, you get less light because that screen has the most unused screen surface.

I really need this feature now! I stopped tracking some activities because of this, always checking for an update hopping this is available, but it isn't 😢

I like the bright screen because it makes it easier see my heart rate as I'm running in the sunshine.  Would be good to be able to toggle it on and off though.

I posted on a separate thread but I also agree! I've been getting scolded in indoor cycling classes that are dark. They think I'm on my cell phone. Not very useful for tracking exercise if I can't use it

I agree. I also find it awkward when I'm trying to workout in a dim lit room. I don't want to disturb other people from their workout but I want to track my activity at the same time!
