It would be nice to be able the control the strength of the vibration used for the alarm and notification.
Something like "Weak", "Medium", "Strong", "Maximum". Where "Maximum" should be the maximum of the vibration motor.

Hi Kriga, we will definitely pass on this idea to our product managers! Thanks!

Totally agree with this. I find I miss some notifications because the vibration on the Steel HR Sport is very gentle. I understand that a stronger vibration will shorten battery life, but with 25 days of battery already, I am fine losing a little battery time.

I’m following with interest, the alert is not strong enough and fails to wake me 9 times in 10.

yes please! make vibrations stronger!

This function has been available on previous models / products! Why is it not included in that HR sports?

Please amplify the vibration.

Agreed. I am not being woken up by the vibrations.

Only had the watch for a couple of days and have to agree. I set up notifications and thought they weren't working, but it turned out they were, I just wasn't feeling any vibration. Just tried the alarm and I'm sure it wouldn't wake me up.

Agreed. Increase vibrations range, please!

I decided to sell my watch, which I have had for several days, because the notifications are completely useless due to too weak vibrations (but to be fair I will warn potential buyers that notifications are only for more sensitive people)

I actually find the vibration too strong, it always gives me a shock. I would love vibration customisation too, please! With some softer/gentler options

Just had my withings HR for Christmas and agree that the vibration for notifications should have an option to increase the strength or the amount of vibrations so you do not miss a notification. Surely this would be a simple software update?

yes, totally agree. the default setting of my steel hr is to weak
please add this option.

withings support is telling that they can’t change the strength of the alarm vibration cause of hardware issues - perhaps we should (as an alternative) ask them to make the length of the alarm configurable at least, so that people have a better change to wake up by the vibration... Perhaps to manually set the time In the app how long the vibration of the alarm is ringing?

Hello, sad that the support has answered so, a longer vibration duration would also be acceptable, I think, if it is not otherwise possible, why not.

Yes, a much longer vibration, if stronger is not possible! The ability to control the length of the vibration for notifications could function like the brightness control currently in the app with an update.

Totally agree. Vibration strench is too smooth. Please, amplify it. Regards

Totally agree with kriga, i don't know if via firmware upgrade it is possible, but the vibration in the current state is to weak.
Best Regards

Yes I agree a much longer vibration, could function like the brightness control currently.

This feature request we all have been asking for over two years. And yet still no response.😤 Withings . when will you respond.🤔
likes
Yes, can barely feel the vibration.

The least we could have is standard and medium option.that would be execptable. For bothe the watch HR and SCAN watch. If someone can forward to develop team would be a big ask.

Please! I just switched from Fitbit to scan light and I can't count on feeling the vibrations for alarms or timers.

Any updates to this? Is it in the development road map or listed as nice to have but never going to happen?

I’m the opposite of most folks, it shocks me awake often
