Don't know on HR Sport, I have Steel HR and this is not an option, so necessary.

This should definitely be implemented on the Steel HR and HR Sport, would be very helpful...

Hope this suggestion hasn't been dropped, I would consider it a fundamental component of any activity item.

I would love that feature too. At the moment I have to use different mobile app to shows me reminders on mobile.

Discreet watch vibration reminder would be very convenient feature.

That feature could have simply be added by allowing to setup more then 3 alarms.

Unfortunately Steel HR allows you to setup maximum of three alarms. Where recommended brake when working behind the desk is every 30min.

I highly support the idea to have that feature implemented one way or the other.

    Thank you

Having more alarms does not exactly help the issue, since you want the reminder only if you were inactive for too long otherwise it gets annoying very soon. If I just want a reminder each hour I could set the phone alarm, but I rather want the watch to improve my bad habit of sitting too long without break.

This is a really helpful feature for anyone with an office job.

I solved this issue with a app called reminder.

Enable Notifications under devices and select the app Reminder and you good to go.

I'm using this indeed for all kind reminders like, every 30 minutes - walk around when i'm in the office, every 90 minutes - drink water or daily - take pills, measure blood pressure.... possibilities are endless.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arthurivanets.reminder

Hope this solves some issues for some people until it is implemented in this app.

I would really like to have this function as well. Weird that it is not included.

Fully agree that we should have a Stand Up Reminder. But IMHO that's not enough anymore. Recently I got an email from Garmin. These are the kind of metrics they track (and Withings should most certainly take note).

    https://www.garmin.com/en-US/blog/fitness/tips-tricks-to-monitor-your-health-using-garmin/

My point is: stand up reminders are essential (and easy for Withings to implement I'm very sure). But they could do a lot more than that. Note the "Body Battery" feature in Garmin watches as described in the link above.

I see you have a discount on the watch at the moment. Was ready to go and buy it until I realised you haven’t got this feature. Hard to believe. Not only do you not have the feature but there have been so many requests for it. It looks like withings is not very responsive to its customers. I already have a withings is weighing machine which is great but you’ve got to listen to your customers.

I have two withings STEEL HR watches (Different colors), 2 scales (different bathrooms), BP monitor. That makes me pretty hardcore in my support. But their complete lack of Interest (or even acknowledgement) of customer feedback and lack of basic features is now pushing my loyalty to a limit. I’m not sure I’m buying any more of their products until they fix what they have sold me.

It was two years ago that the stand up functionalty was asked for and I cannot see that it has as yet been made available, what makes this worse is that the new Scan watch does not appear to have this either.  As a desk worker and now working from home this reminder is a key feature that I am looking for in a new watch.  The Garmin vivomove has this feature and looks similar to the scanwatch just does not have the ECG feature.

Yes this is a simple feature that is much needed. Strange that Withings doesn’t respond to this request.

It's been too long and I am afraid I need to jump ship to another brand. Withings lack resources to get things done. I been hopeful for their "new" watches but after 2 years of waiting for them to hit USA, I think it's time to jump ship. Their app is really good on iOS and I like their sleep tracking feature, but now with COVID and working from home this reminder is needed. If Withings can't deliver a product to the market I think adding a feature request is way back on the list of things to do.

Please Withings team: at least tell us why this is so difficult to implement, I refuse to believe is only because of laziness you don't provide us with such a requested feature since 2 years by far, even seems to be an easy thing for programmers.

    Thank's.

The battery life on the watches is/was a big benefit. As was the aesthetic (watch is nice looking). But honestly the Apple Watch is looking more and more attractive now. I am not going to buy their scan watch for this reason.

Could someone tweet at Withings (@AskWithings) and tell them to check their feature request discussions. Seems like they have lost all interest in their customers. (I don't have a twitter account and am not going to start one either).

My Withings had been in it's box for almost a year for this and other deficiencies, including their lack of consumer responsiveness.
On the bright side, I've LOVED my Garmin VIVOSMART 4 for the past year+ !

It has been +2 years since this was raised with no indications. I left my Steel HR in the box for months because of this and used my old school analog. Was recently wanting to buy the HR sports but it’s not worth it without core activity tracker functionality like such as this. Not cool Withings.

Guys, to add more wood to the fire, I actually requested this feature 4 years ago in September 8, 2016. This was their original response:

    Hello Jorge,

Thank you for choosing Withings for your health and fitness technology needs.

Though not currently available, I can certainly see where this type of reminder would be a helpful option; I will forward this on to our development team for consideration. I can confirm that the Steel HR does vibrate for alarms and notifications.

If you have any further questions you would like to share with us, please feel free to do so.

    Best regards,

    Megan L.

I recently picked up a ScanWatch and feel like it is really missing this feature. A notification after x minutes of inactivity would be really helpful for us desk people.
