    Hi, 

     

    If you’re not able to set up your Home and you’re seeing an orange light, please check this article first:

    - I'm having issues installing my Home. What should I do?

     

    You can also try the followings steps:

    1) Unplug Home.

    2) Wait 60 seconds.

    3) Plug Home back in.

    4) Wait 60 seconds again.

     

    If the situation persists, a factory reset might be necessary. For that, please: 

    1) 'Forget' Home from the list of Bluetooth devices in the Bluetooth Settings of your Android or iOS device. If this is not done, you will receive a 'Connection Unsuccessful' or 'ConnectionFailException' message when attempting to connect via Bluetooth during the installation.

    2) Unplug and replug Home 5 times (you must wait for the light to turn on after each time that you plug it back in before unplugging it again). You should unplug the power adapter from the outlet, rather than from the back of the Home, as this ensures that you can unplug it as soon as the light turns on.

    3) On the 6th time that you plug it in, the light on Home will blink orange and then blue after a few seconds. The factory reset is now complete. You can now follow the original setup instructions.

    Have you tried resetting the camera? Same thing happened once, did the reset and it started to blink the blue light instead. I would suggest reading over the steps because they're sort of specific in what they want you to do, https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/articles/212192077-I-m-having-issues-installing-my-Home-What-should-I-do-#factory.

    Help! The camera has a steady orange light. My phone does not pick it up under Bluetooth to start a factory reset.

    Try to do a factory reset with your Home camera. You can check this link https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/articles/214929108-Dissociating-your-Home for the steps on how to do the factory reset. If the issue persists, please contact them directly at https://within.gs/help so they can assist you further.

    I'm having the same issue, but I got a solid orange light upon connecting the camera to power supply. Tried the factory reset several times and it didn't work (i.e. not blinking blue light). 

    Please tell me that there is a solution. Just bough the camera, but second hand an no longer under warranty (by a few days)....did I just get myself a very expensive paper-weight? :S

    P.s.- I've send a message to the support team and I'm waiting for their answer

    I I also had trouble doing a factory reset on my old Home - the trick is to unplug it and plug in again THE MOMENT THE ORANGE LIGHT COMES ON!  I was making the intake of waiting a minute or so up after each unplugging but then read the Withings instructions which say to unplug again immediately the Orange light shows.  Eureka!

    unplugging four times as soon as the orange light comes on does work!

    ch habe das gleiche Problem, aber ich habe ein solides orangefarbenes Licht bekommen, als ich die Kamera an die Stromversorgung ansechnüpfte. Habe das Zurücksetzen auf die Werkseinstellungen mehrmals versucht und es hat nicht funktioniert (d.h. kein blaues Licht blinkt).
