    Hello Lena, 

    I am sorry to read about the issue you have encountered while trying to set up your watch. It is possible that when the back case of the watch was previously removed, it was not properly aligned. This would cause the reset button on the outside of the case to not properly line up with the reset button on the inside of the watch. I have included a link to an article which explains how to realign the back case of the watch.

    We generally recommend that you have a watchmaker or jewelry repair technician follow these steps to ensure that the watch is properly sealed so that it maintains its water resistance. If you choose to realign the back case yourself, please make sure that you hear a 'snap' when closing the watch case as this indicates that it has been properly closed.

    When pressing the button on the back of the watch, remember that it may be necessary to press down firmly at various angles to trigger the button. When the button has been successfully pressed, it should cause the watch to vibrate.
