NFC payment

(Opinion) As much its annoying to reach the dirty terminal and touch it with ur wrist. But NFC payment is easy great option.

Yes, please. The watch is almost perfect. NFC payments with Google Pay support would make it unbeatable.

I would buy the watch instantly even if it was two times more expensive and with half-less battery life.

We (wife and myself) are currently using Garmin and Fitbit watches, and we are really open to an alternative especially since Fitbit is now fully owned by Google. I like the Health Mate app and the workings of the Scale. Furthermore I like the look of the Hybrid Withings watches allot, as well as the battery life.

But we do use the NFC Payment option on our watches daily, its really a comfort feature that makes sense. So that is what is keeping me from buying the Withings ScanWatch. I understand there is a difficulty since you need te implement an input option for a passcode or some to activate the payment option, and all of it might impact the battery life. But still - if this feature was built in already I would be wearing a Withings watch already.

Your products give us only essential features without unnecessary things. But NFC payments (better working with Google pay and Apple pay) could be the icing on the cake! Do it soon, otherwise we will be forced to choose other competitors, losing the possibility of using an aesthetically beautiful and functional product!

Re @altawashm: I ended up buying a Garmin Felix Solar; nice appeal, good ecosystem incl. NFC payments and other integrations. About 10 days on single charge (also depending sunshine of course). I am sure there are more options as well.

@withings please provide an update wrt plans on NFC support. What's the point of hosting a forum at your site if you never mingle in the discussion?

I already gave up. After 2,5 years of using a withings watch and I must admit I was really happy about the built-in quality as well as the long battery life, but I wanted to upgrade to a new Smart watch with NFC payment support. I couldn't wait longer for Withings to offer this essential feature in their Smart watches. Shame on you Withings for not listening your loyal customers. I bought a fitness tracker for 50€ with NFC contactless payments!

This is indeed becoming very outdated. Unfortunate, I like the watch otherwise, but it seems like I'll have to switch to live with the times.
