Hi as an avid and beta user I am interested in improving the platform and usability through user experience feedback.
The issue I face comes up as I travel several times a year for several weeks through several timezone. This results in that all my alarms and reminders as well as the plotting of data not being correct.
- I.e. My reminders for a walk come in at 1 AM instead of 9PM
- my originally 6AM Alarm goes of at 2AM or 8AM.
The difference is always equal to the time change I made between time-zones. The first time I experience this was March 2018.
The alarms and reminders still show the correct time for when to go of, yet they go off without having been adjusted to the new timezone, meaning they are triggered still in the old timezone time. This is not only very annoying and causing some frustration. The only way to deal with it is by disabling all reminders and newly setting all alarms. The plotting is my least concern but mean that the overview of data for an entire week is not reliable.
Put simply this issue would be resolved if the system timezone time is set as the basis for all visuals, reminders and alarms. For visuals this would only disturb one 24 hour frame everything else should be aligned. I imagine this might not be an overnight fix as it has been persisting for more than a year now. But it should not be that hard to fix.
Now having said that. If I am completely off and there is a fix I have missed (other than disassociating my device and going through setup every time, meaning I have to do the settings of all alarms and reminders anyway) I would like to know :)
Many thanks for sharing your views, experiences and solutions.
