Dear Withings Team,
Having tried numerous wearable exercise trackers (Garmin, Xiaomi and Apple), I consider my Withings HR Steel to be the best so far.
I try to be as active as I can throughout the day (work standing up, taking stairs instead of the lift, walking or cycling instead of driving, etc, etc). The HR equipped Garmin devices monitor « activity minutes » - time at different heart rates - that allows a differentiation between walking up a hill compared to walking at the same rate on the flat.
They appear to also adapt the HR monitoring rate depending up on HR (low HR, slower sample rate, higher HR, faster sample rate) that allows automatic recording of activity levels.
I would like Withings to add an option to allow automatic recording of « activity rate vs time » to the Steel HR, and I would be prepared to change to a new model if needed (I expect that this feature would use more energy and hence reduce battery life, so a bigger battery would need to be included).
Thanks for listening !
