not getting notifications

    I have had this watch for about 9 months.  Love the watch, especially when the notifications work, but just like most of you, after I do my factory reset, it still only works for a day or two. I've been through everything on this thread and the website. The December update helped for a few days as well but now nothing.  

    I have also worked with Support, but they did not seem to have any answers.  I am frankly surprised and VERY discouraged to see that no one from the Withings team appears to have commented on this post.  

    Each of us has chosen to purchase this watch and I love to tell people about it.  When people ask, I always tell them, "it's a great watch, BUT...". There are even a couple of people I considered to give this to as a gift, but I couldn't/wouldn't due to this issue.  

    I am holding out hope that they will have a solution for us. Like many of you, I'm ready to champion this brand.  But if this continues, I'm likely going to have to continue to steer people away from their products and save up to purchase something else.

    I have the same issue and unable to resolve it after trying all the permutations of the above suggestions. At best I receive one text notification and then the notifications stop. I have IOS 13.3 on an iPhone 8.

    I'm having the same issue with OnePlus 6, Android 10. Ridiculouos that Whitings is not giving proper support or information about a bugfix...

    Same issue. Notifications work half time at best. Resets are not helping.

    Have been researching Withings for some weeks now and even told my son (living with us) how good they seemed. He received his Steel HR last week and absolutely loves it, especially the ability to receive notifications. I then ordered a Steel HR Sport which arrived yesterday and again am so far happy. HOWEVER, since I set mine up, he has not received any notifications. Given I work in IT incident management, I don't believe in coincidences - issues occur due to a) hardware faults or b) something has changed. That said, I don't understand how my set-up with passwords, permissions etc could have affected his. We are now going through all the suggestions on here to try and resolve the issue but likely he will send his back under 30 days warranty. For me, the jury is still out.

    Same issue, works for a few days then stops working. It seems reboot the watch fixes it for a few days.
    Appears to be getting worse and worse

    I've been following this for some time and have owned a Steel HR Sport for over a year. Knowing that I 'break' the bluetooth connection by leaving the phone out of range of the watch throughout the day,

    I run the app and 'refresh' the home screen (drag down on mobile) to force the phone to reconnect with the watch. (like user brucew+withings)

    Saves the factory reset which I've had to do twice, been through all the Bluetooth, notifications, and power saving menus enough times to check my own set up.

    I have the same issue. I have tried everything but nothing helped. Notifications on the watch are unreliable.
    I have chosen this watch for two features: long battery life, and notification. It is a big disappointment. I should have chosen Samsung instead....

    I’m having the same issue as all of you, nothing seems to work. Even the help centre link instructions posted on another thread don’t give me the expected messages when I follow the instructions exactly! It’s so frustrating. I love the watch, but it was so much better when notifications worked.

    Hey guys, have you checked your battery setup in your phones? I've had the same issue, after 2 days my notifications stopped working. Then I realized that new phones are using Ai algorithm to optimize battery management which means it will silence the Health Mate app from sending Bluetooth notifications to your watch. Since I've set it to manual management for the App, works fine.
