update issues

    It finally worked.  What I had to do was:

    try a couple of times

    reset watch to factory settings

    try some more

    Turn phone off then back on

    Turn bluetooth off, then back on

    Delete and reinstall healthmate app

    try several times

    reset watch to factory settings again

    delete flash-cache in watch

    try several times again

    send another e-mail to customer service

    start tracking how far along it got before the dreaded "X" and "An unexpected error has occurred"

    Then, on the third attempt, the update finally installed completely.

    Over 1.5 hours and a few dozen attempts.

    I hope this update is worth the hassle.

    I still love this watch.

     This is really disappointing, as I am currently going through this, and because of the factory reset, and the current update the watch is useless in the interim, as it does not actually tell the time, I am stuck at 10.10......  While I like the watch, this seems above and beyond for a product - especially when others are having problems.  Surely - there is not a shortcut to this process?

    You can resolve this issue by using another phone/tablet in the household to complete the update.   Once the update is completed using the new device, you can go back and pair your original (intended) device to the tracker.

    thank you so much. Set the watch up, updated, and calibrated on my tablet. Then disassociated and did it again on my phone. Took 3 or 4 tries but finally worked after having tried many more times before reading Richard's suggestion.
