    I remember that scary X.
    Did you disassociate the watch from within the health mate app? See if it is still shown under device's and if it is still there under settings for the watch there is a disassociate button.
    If it is already disassociate see if it still listed in your phones Bluetooth settings under paired or remember devices and unpair it. Then start the setup from the health mate app again.
    That helped for me.

    When I saw that 'X' icon on my watch, I thought the watch will no longer work. My cousin taught me how to Dissociate the watch to the app and on the Bluetooth settings of my phone. He then rebooted my phone and try to reinstall the watch and it automatically worked. =)
