I find that the Pulse HR isn't bright enough on summer days or even most cloudy days. I started using the ambient sensor and have since just left it on full brightness. I would gladly give up battery longevity to get a brighter screen. At this point I find the tracking of exercise great but with the lack of being able to read the screen, useless to me, unless inside. If Withings has reduced the brightness of the leds to gain battery life, I would gladly give up half of the 25 days so that I could read the screen.
At this point I will be giving up on the Pulse HR and moving to the new Galaxy Fit. I've used a Fit before and at least I could read the screen outside.
Anyone else with this complaint?
