Watch vibration during whatsapp calls

What is the error?

When having a whatsapp call, the watch vibrates during the whole duration of the call. This happens both when receiving a call or making a call yourself.

 

How to reproduce the error?

1. Enable your Steel HR notification for Whatsapp in the Healthmate App

2. Have the phone linked via bluetooth to your android phone and wait for a whatsapp call/do a whatsapp call.

3. The watch will vibrate the whole duration of the call (eg. for 10 minutes straight)

 

This is not desired behavior, as what should happen is to have a vibration when there is a call incoming, and only 1 vibration, not a constant vibration during the call. This is basic stuff, the apple watch does not vibrate during the whole duration of calls, because they thought it through. However the Withings Steel HR has this bug!

    Same issue. Why has to send the notification for an outgoing call? I already know I'm making a call.

    When i receive a whatsapp call device does not give any notification. But when i call somebody device vibrates and notifies me i am calling somebody.

    Same issue with whatsapp calling both receiving and calling. It just keeps vibrating. Same as an calander event notification. It keeps on vibrating and resets every minute.......

    Bump +100.

    When making Whatsapp calls the Watch (Steel HR, Samsung Galaxy Note 10) keeps popping up notifications of a missed call. I mute it, it keeps poping back up 2 more times. So I have to mute 3 times.

    I'm new to the Withings ecosphere. I have the same issue with my Steel HR Sport when receiving regular phone calls. Reading through the forum a bit, I'm sad to see little to no support from the company. Not acknowledging customer's issues when they ask for help is a good way to send your customers somewhere else.

    It is been a year or may be more this issue has been raised up but no respond at all from withings.

    I didn't know how come this company get the loyal customer if they didn't want to hear their clients at all.

    It is almost the same with creating product without support.

    Same bug here on a Pixel 2. It also happens with Facebook messenger. This bug makes me want to leave the Withings ecosystem.
