Thank you for reaching out to Withings Customer Support. I am sorry to hear the watch suddenly died or quit working. Let me help you with this as I wanted to make sure everything is sorted out and thus, necessary confirmation for the following details below are obtained:
When you press the button, does it feel as though it is 'stuck' or does it move?
Could you please inspect the charging cable and let me know if you see any damage to it? If there is damage to the cable, please send us a photo of it.
If you do not see any damage to the cable, please try plugging the charger into a different USB port and let me know if it now charges. Ensure that the cable is making proper contact with the watch. The charger is properly making contact when the cable points in the opposite direction as the button on the watch. See below:
You should feel a slight magnetic pull on the back of the charger when contact is made. Additionally, the watch's display should show a battery icon and the battery percentage.
If the watch still does not charge, please clean it with warm, soapy water and then dry it. Make sure that you do not use any other chemicals to clean the watch as it may damage the heart rate sensor. Then, clean the contacts on the charging cable using a cotton swab moistened with rubbing alcohol and dry it.
If the watch does not power on, press and hold the button on the side of the watch for a full 6 seconds and let me know if it vibrates even if the screen does not light up.
Note: Keep in mind that in cases where the watch battery is very low and it has shown the low battery icon on its display, it may need to charge for at least 30 minutes before it is able to run on its own, otherwise it will power off once it is removed from the charger.
Thank you for your cooperation!
