Hi! While my normal body temperature is 36.5 - 36.8 (measured with regular Hg thermometer) Thermo always shows something just above 37 (37.1 - 37.5).
I've checked the lens, I stay in the same room with my Thermo for 10 minutes before measurements and I've read the instructions on how to take measurements.
Still, 37.1 - 37.5.
Why is that so? Is my Thermo broken or what?

You can follow the troubleshooting steps outlined in this article https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/articles/221705127-Thermo-I-m-having-issues-with-my-temperature-measurements-What-should-I-do-#toohigh. Hope this helps.

Hi, it depends on where you have measured your body temperature before, ie under the tongue, armpit, etc. These measurements will differ as the blood temperature has a slight variation across these areas. If you are now measuring with this thermometer, which measures against the forehead, you need to be aware that the forehead temperature on average is between 0.3 and 0.6 C higher than the under the tongue temperature, where the underarm temperature is about that amount less than the mouth temperature. The veins in the forehead have the least variation in temperature and therefore give the most reliable reading. Mouth and armpit have much higher temperature variation and proves to be less reliable; also depending on what type of thermometer you are using.
