My Steel HR watch Died in 6 month from the purchase date. when it died, it's holds 100% battery Power. I tried all recommended troubleshooting steps. Support team is not helpful. they are going through the same articles posted on forum instead of proceeding next step. Now, they are asking me to hold watch in charger for 48 hours. When i not accept it, the next suggested step is shipping charger cable and that's again 72 to 96 hours of waiting.
I will not recommend this to any one. This is again worst response from CSC like buying time and fix it automatically instead of replacing watch.

for my case : nothing worked (warm water, charging 12hours... etc.... BUT I decided to leave it alone for 48h00......... then I pressed the button..... and miracle ! it turned on again ! put it on the charger : from 0% (it was 32% when it died 48h00 earlier). Charge is progressing fine. watch works again. so if nothing works, just leave it alone for a few days... Good luck !

This happened to me a week ago. The watch had over 60% charge and it just suddenly died. I left it off the charger for 2 days and then it finally looked like it was responding when pressing the button. I put it on the charger and fully charged it. It seems to be working now. Support was not helpful.

Thanks guys! You’re the real support line. Mine stopped also suddenly last Friday with a 57% battery level while I was watching television. As I see the number of cases mentioned here the last six months, it’s a real shame Withings support still continues to give nonsense advises. It’s 100% clear that there is a firmware problem and Withings isn’t doing anything to solve it. A real shame. Thanks to you all my watch is working again. For how long???
