Since yesterday, the app has changed how it calculates calories from my walks. It went from estimating about 220 calories for a 2 mile, 40 minute walk to saying a similar walk on the same exact route is 95 calories. My half mile walks went from 55 calories to 18. I am having to manually enter calories estimates off of past walks. What changed? (I am using the continuous tracking when walking with heart rates over 130 on average)

In home setting. Under Daily steps. At Weekdays average. It shows total calories and calories burned.
I understand that total calories is the basal metabolic rate and calories burned that from activity. However when I cross check this to at Dashboard. Nutrition. It reads as remaining calories today. Here it gives me- Nutrition in kcal. Initial and exercise. There’s a category for consumed but I don’t count them.
My question is these two metrics are not equal and it seems like they should be if they are equivalent. Is one of these “off” or am I not getting some part of the calculation?
