Watch counting steps while cycling

    It happens to me as well. The steps are being counted with cycling activity. I realized that this might be normal as I still have a foot motion that could possibly be detected as steps.

    Raven, I believe the HR Steel looks at arm movement to detect steps (quiet a few people have returned their HR Steel because it does not detect steps while having your hands on a stroller). So, I do not understand how the HR Steel translates cycling activity to a certain number of steps. Yesterday, the same thing happened to me: it granted me about 2000 steps for a 1,5 hour cycling trip. Maybe it detects an arm movement when changing gears or while turning. It is indeed strange.
