Unresponsive side button

Recently noticed no notifications coming through on my steel HR. So I pressed the side button to go through the menu but the button was unresponsive. Trier going through and trying the charger tricks the forum said to try. Holding the button for 20 seconds gives me a screen that says "hello", shows the date, then the time. After that it's still unresponsive. I also unpaired my phone to it and now it womt even connect back. Is my watch dead??
