I purchased the Move special edition on 25.June 2019. One of the main reasons I bought it was the better screen and the long battery life. Three days ago, during my evening upload to the app the message came up that the battery was low and that some features would close down. It also said that the battery should last up to 18 months using all the features. I only use the watch for time and steps, no notifications, alarms etc. It maybe that the battery installed in the factory was faulty, otherwise you are falsley promoting the battery life. If I have to take the watch to a jewellers every 3 months, I would have been better charging my Steel HR every month instead.
I would like a speedy reply please.

Same please - I got my Move 2.5 months ago and have had the same problem. Removed the battery saving tag on 11 July 2019 when I received the watch and got the battery saving mode alert when I synced today 27 September 2019. This is unacceptable when it claims to have 18 months on the battery.

I purchased my watch in November and my battery is now saying it needs to be replaced. I thought it lasted 18 months? I am disappointed with this as part of my research on purchasing this watch was the long batter life. Can I get a replacement and/or return this watch. 3 months is not 18 months.

Replacing the battery of Move ECG
Move ECG is waterproof, and as such, we strongly advise that you take it to your local jeweler or watchmaker and request that the battery be replaced. The replacement of the battery and the reassembly by a professional will ensure the watch will remain waterproof after the battery change.
Note: For optimal use of your Withings watch, we recommend replacing the original battery by a non-rechargeable CR2430 coin cell from Toshiba, Maxell or Omnergy.

i have had the same issue of the battery only lasting 3 months. i thought it was just an individual issue, so i contacted customer support and they replaced my watch, however the battery on the replacement only lasted 3 months. i’ve gone though this process twice, all three watches have a 3 month battery life. the customer service was helpful, but this product is clearly faulty

I have same issue as most above mentioned, battery life, difficult to locate the 2430, but found one, but now there are no jewelers to replace due to covid 19 issues. ?? my first watch the steel battery life lasted 3 yrs, this move less than one year. is cheaper to order a new one than get a jeweler to replace battery.
