I have had exactly the same issue. My watch died at around 11pm yesterday with 65% charge.

Guys, the service advised me to put the watch 20 seconds under hot water, dry it well and charge it.
Unbelievable but it's back on track!
It marked the battery completely discharged and now it is charging.

I put mine in a zip lock bag and put it in the freezer for 12 hours and then put it on the charger and it revived. Putting it in the freezer allows it to reset. It drained the battery and then came alive again when I charged it.

Same issue. Watch stop working 2 days ago, and does not recharge anymore. Already tried to charge 12 hours, but still nothing.

Same issue here. One day after the last update the steel HR turned off and it is impossible to wake it up. I found that it is possible to start it when it is on its charge stand but it turns off when I unplug. I've set the watch back to factory reset with no success... By the way, after reading this thread, I've imerged the watch in hot water during 20sec and it came back to live... WTF? But it worked for me.

Try to charge your watch for a full 12 hours and make sure to clean the contacts of your charger. It works for me.
