I need this feature so I don't have to bring my phone with me whenever I'm doing an activity. Please add this feature.

Totally agree, would be nice if we could add information manually. Sleep, steps etc. What ever parameters I want, maximum pullup reps, 100m best time... mood.

You don't need to have your phone with you - just your device.  You can sync it later - even the next day.  If the device is too cumbersome to wear at times - put it in your pocket.  It will still measure your activity.

No that is not ideal either.. Don't want to run with 2 watches. A simple answer is when manually adding an activity to be able to put how many steps you did in that activity.. Obviously this can be left blank if you don't know but if you do then adding the steps would solve all this having to carry 2 devices.

Please add a feature where users can enter steps from other tracking services/equipment. I like to be able to see everything in one place.

Recently moved to a Garmin Forerunner 645 from an Apple Watch.  The Apple Watch was linked to Apple Health which then was linked to the Withings Health Mate.   So I was always in sync with my step count on my various health apps.  The new Garmin Watch is linked to Apple Heath and my steps in Apple Heath are correct.   However the steps recorded from the Garmin are not feed to Withings Health Mate either directly or indirectly.   I called the Withings support last night and was told they do not have a partnership agreement with Garmin.  He said maybe some day they would have an agreement.  This makes my Health Mate app dashboard kind of useless.  Too bad, I really liked that dashboard.   So this morning I woke up with a thought that a work-around would be to manually add the steps recorded on the Garmin to Health Mate.  It didn't take long to find this thread and realize that "steps" cannot be manually added.  I have a Withings scale and a Withings blood pressure device and sorry to find out that I can't integrate with my Garmin devise to their app.   Seems short-sighted on Withings part to not allow or partner with all the major health devise companies or to allow manual intervention for steps to be added.  (Yes, I realize that another work-around is the carry my phone with me while running or to also wear my Apple Watch, but I rather not.)
