Does every adult in my household need a withings plus membership?

I recently got a scale for my household as well as a withings plus membership. It’s been a complete trail getting everyone added and shared. But now, it’s unclear if we can even get the premium membership shared. Can you help? Why would we need more than one membership as long as we live in the same household? That way we can avoid over consumption and use more withings products.

    Thank you for your message. I understand your frustration with setting up the profiles and sharing the membership. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've had, and I want to assure you that a single Withings+ membership is designed to be shared among all users in a household.

    The Withings+ membership is tied to the person who is the primary account holder. This is typically the first person to install the scale that came with the subscription. 

    Once the primary user has set up the scale, other household members can be added to the main account. They will then be able to access the premium features as long as they are using the same scale. This system is designed to allow multiple family profiles to share the same subscription.
