Same problem here. Re-connecting to my old phone works, so there's some connection issue with the iPhone 17 hardware I'm afraid.

Hi Toni,
Sorry to say but the chat support is totally useless. I have contacted them several times regarding the binding issues Scanwatch with iPhone 16e and iPhone 16 but they treat the customers like they are dump and don’t know what they are doing. Withings has a big problem with their products scale and watch with iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 series but you don’t care.
I recommended Withings a lot in the future and we bought several products but the two watches we bought for Christmas are already on their way back.

Just tried it again with iOS 26.2 on an iPhone 17 and it works like a charm.

Congratulations! I've tried it several times again, reset the watch, reinstalled the app, restarted the phone, nothing worked. But finally I found a way. Paired the phone with an old iPhone 12. Removed the watch from in Bluetooth, NOT in the App. After that I was able to bind it with my iPhone 16 Plus.
